How Does It Work?
The Epionce Peel System is a combination of salicylic and salicin derived from willow bark and can be used on all skin tones including sensitive and mature skins. When used in combination with the malic acid this produces and response similar to a Jessner Peel with greater safety and efficacy, with minimal or no downtime.
As we age the epidermal skin cell turnover rate slows down which causes increased dead skin cell build up on the surface of the skin. Superficial peels encourage cell turnover by loosening the bonds of the “glue” that hold the skin cells together resulting in skin appearing fresher and smoother.
We also provide Dermaceutic Skin Peels. The Milk Peel uses 30% glycolic acid to even out skin tone, improve the appearance of dilated pores, reduces excess sebum so is an excellent peel for acne prone skin with minimal or no downtime.
The Cosmo, Forte and Mela Forte Peels use trichloroacetic acid (TCA) which comes in varying concentrations allowing for varying depths of peeling. TCA peels can treat pigmentation, discolouration, skin irregularities fine lines and dull complexion. The downtime and recovery can range from a few days up to two weeks depending on the strength of the peel.
